He who has made the heavens and the earth visited the little town of
Post Falls, Idaho the month of July at the Awakening 2000 -
Transformation Conference.
J. Conrad Lampan, from Argentina was the guest speaker. Pastor
Conrad says God had placed the PNW on his heart sometime ago, and
knew in God's perfect timing a door would be open to come and be one
of those to plant flames of revival which would be a part of God's plan to
usher in Jesus! Our eyes and hearts began to witness fruit of the labors
of the prayers of faithful intercessors and those who have and continue
to, prepare the way of the Lord.
Throughout the conference the 200+ attendees found themselves
being drawn more and more into His presence and a wonderful
awareness - an awakening, within oneself. It seemed those who were
able to attend most all the meetings experienced an undeniable
progression of transformation that has changed them forever. With
each meeting the accumulating affect within our hearts found us
yearning more for Him, His presence, crying out from newfound depths
of our being to know Him more, to love Him more, to seek His face, to
be changed continually into His likeness. And He did not let us down!
There are not words to express what He has done in our hearts.
Though weeks have passed since the Awakening 2000 Conference
took place, there has been increase - a gradual, continual, deepening of
the work the Lord began within the heart.
Pastor Conrad emphasized prayer as the main instrument of revival,
and the absolute exaltation of Jesus as the only igniter of the fire. But
he did not do this on his own, nor with the merely the words of man...
The presence of God was so strong, the Holy Spirit stirring us as never
before... that He was irresistible. Spiritual ears were opened. Our
longing for the Bridegroom brought us to our knees and on our faces
before Him, that He would be exalted and manifest in our earthen
vessels - in all the earth - that every knee would bow and every tongue
confess that Jesus is Lord!
Those who were gathered together within those four days and
evenings were truly impacted and bonded together as the Body of
Christ, though they came from different churches, different ministries,
different towns and even different countries! There are still continual
reports of blessing coming in. We so missed our family and friends
that were not able to come...
But we have good news - there will be another Awakening 2000
Conference coming up this autumn, once again in Northern Idaho!
Messenger Ministries, with Bobby Connors as the featured guest
speaker, will host it. As I'm sure you've noticed through Rivermail,
Northwest Revival News, and other reports, the Lord is using Bobby
Connors mightily in this season to bring His healing touch to the Body
of Christ. Once again, because this conference was not called by the
unction of man, but rather by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we are
believing for More... and that's exactly what our cry is - More of Jesus...
