Subject: Rushing mighty wind in Big Sky......UPDATE!

TENT MEETING IN EUREKA MONTANA
I will attempt to capture the events of the last few nights at the tent
meeting here in Eureka Montana. Tent evangelist Bob Riggle, wife Leslie
and family came to our community just five short days ago, the tent went up
in our Historical Village. The turn out was not a huge crowd but consisted
of a few seriously seeking God'd presence. As the week and meetings
progressed so to did God's presence.
A PROPHETIC CALL TO THE WOUNDED
There was a word spoken calling the wounded forward for prayer. It was
thought to be a directive to pray that evening but we were to discover this
word was intended to go forth in our community and compel the wounded to
come forth. And were we in for a blessing.
THE NEXT EVENING
Brothers and sisters from around the county came to the meeting the next
evening. The only schedule that was inmind was to allow the Lord to have it
HIS way. There was song, praise, worship, and words spoken but still no
wounded came forward, the Lord was setting the stage for the next evening.
A WITNESS AND GENTLE WORD SPOKEN
A young man from our community stopped by to invite Darrel to the
meeting. Darrel had not been to chruch in a long long time. He had
suffered much wounding and had determined not to speak in this community
again. He had a vision of a wooden cross and it was getting his
attention. He excepted the invite and came to the tent. Upon entering the
door of the tent there stood the wooden cross he had been seeing for the
last three days. Darrel was not aware that the tent or the cross
was here in Eureka, but now he stood face to face with his destiny.
THE HOLY SPIRIT KNOWS JUST WHAT WE HAVE NEED OF
The ministry this evening was much different than that I have experienced
in my life. The Lord was gently tending to the wounds of the past. This
author had a vision of the wounded and the division it has caused. Then
during the ministry to the wounded another vision, all the wounded were
gone. In a moment another, there was only one NEW man. Then another, and
this one new man stood as lightning or light beams flashed to the ground
around and about him. The beams of light or lightning was soft and
peaceful and not violent. Then it happened......
A RUSHING AND MIGHTY WIND
Bob Riggle was speaking and the wind began to come up. It came into the
tent as if directed by the Lord himself. Several gusts left the impression
that the tent may be lifted from its secure station. Then the stakes that
held the side panels down pulled loose and the side panels stood out to
the mercy of the wind.
GIVE TESTIMONY TO THE GOODNESS OF GOD
Bob sat down and the young man that invited Darrel rose to share the word
of God. Soon, Darrel stood to request to interupt and the young man
yielded. Darrel went on to share his heart and soul. Through the tears
and words he shed the baggage of years of pain. It was an
awsome experience to say it mildly to see God restore this man of
God. Darrel has ministered around the world and has been on the
schedule with some pretty high profile preachers. He testified
that while the wind was blowing he asked the Lord to show if it was
truly HIM or just a natural wind. The Lord graciously accommodated the
request and stilled the wind.
ON OUR FACES
II Chronicles 7:3 was read and all that were left in the tent ended up on
their faces before the Lord. God is interested in reconciliation and
restoration, all the ingredients are there when we add the most essential
one, REPENTANCE. I can not begin to discribe the magnitude of this
experience. I will end this testimony with this call. Continue to read
on in II Chronicles and you will see God making a promise. It starts out
like this, "If my people....." and ends with "I will heal their land".
